Gail Brewster - Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Thai Foot Massage, Hot Stone Reflexology
The use of hot stones adds total luxury with your therapeutic treatment. The natural qualities of heat, water and stone help soften muscle tissue and encourage the flow of circulation to the extremities, while reflexology techniques treat physical or emotional imbalances.
Treatment begins with the application of Hot Stone Fusion techniques to relax the neck and shoulders, releasing muscle tension and allow the patient to familiarise themselves with the feeling of hot stones on their skin. The reflexology treatment then commences, using hot stones to massage the lower limbs and apply pressure to relevant reflexes on the feet to promote balance and encourage the body to heal itself.
This is an incredibly relaxing treatment and is offered at a special introductory price of £25 until 30 April (usual price £40 for one hour).
To book a treatment with Gail Brewster or for further details please contact the Bristo Place Clinic reception on 0131 225 5542.

Overindulged during the festive period, perhaps exacerbating your digestive complaints?
New Year - New You! Wanting to tackle any weight problems?
Feeling like a cleansing de-tox but don’t know how to go about it?
Claire can help you with this.
Digestive disorders which can be helped with herbal medicine include IBS, constipation, diarrhoea, candida, gastritis, acidity, ulcers, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, gallstones and liver disease. Claire has teamed up with IWDL, ARL and York Test Laboratories, and via these organizations is able to offer a wide variety of tests to her patients.
An initial appointment involves taking a detailed medical history, along with details of the presenting problem; this usually takes about 50 minutes, at the end of which a herbal prescription will be supplied. A follow up appointment takes place about 4 weeks later, at which time Claire will review the problem and spend time with the patient looking at their ‘diet diary’. Supplements may be given or tests ordered at this time if appropriate. The progression of treatment is then variable, depending on the particular patient and disease. Typically, Claire will review with patients every 3 months until the end of treatment.
Please call the Napiers Bristo Place clinic on 0131 225 5542 to book an appointment with Claire or for more information.
If you have a digestive problem and are considering an appointment with Claire but aren’t sure if herbal treatment is suitable for you, please call Bristo Place reception on 0131 225 5542, leaving your details and Claire will call you for a chat.
